Sherlock Holmes

In a dynamic new portrayal of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters, “Sherlock Holmes” sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

The Solution

Follow the story of the legendary Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson with an exclusive case study of the movie and its London locations. Holmes and Watson are open for business and there are clues and deception, as the trail moves from one side of the city to the other.

We begin in Clerkenwell and  two locations from the movie at the church of St Bartholomew and St Bart's hospital. Clerkenwell is now a chic party of London but was previously a home to pick pockets and thieves that Holmes and Watson might encounter. From here the clues begin as to the location of the final confrontation.

Move down to the crypt of St. Paul's Cathedral where more information will help crack the case wide open.

The London markets offer  a taste of history and modern day practices. The traditional dish of Fish and Chips remains popular and Borough Market has some of the best.

Underground and the tunnels beneath Somerset House. These are the prison cells and corridors in the movie and an area not normally available to the public.

Head west and the gates of Brompton Cemetery open wide. Another movie location and venue for an exclusive stunt reconstruction, arranged to assist in enquiries. Learn how to throw a punch or disarm a villain as stunt artists engage in a hand to hand demonstration and provide the solution to the case.

Carriages await for a Horse Drawn movie location tour. Travel in style along the embankment of the River Thames to The Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square.
