The planetarium at the Royal Observatory houses the astonishing spectacle ‘Sky at Night’ show, combining real life images from spacecraft and telescopes with cutting edge CGI. The most advanced digital laser project flies you down into the heart of the sun and on to distant galaxies. Witness the birth of a new star before landing on the surface of Mars!

The planetarium closes to the public but remains open exclusively for you! Learn more about the universe with private use of the largest refracting telescope in the UK. Two astronomers locate other galaxies and planets, bringing them close to home. And now you can enjoy the many wonders of space everyday, with your very own telescope, all courtesy of the Royal Observatory!

Come face to face with your favourite Star Wars characters at Madame Tussauds™! This unique, immersive experience features 16 of the most famous heroes and villains in iconic scenes from the Star Wars universe.

Reach for the stars and ascend to the top of the Shard for a mesmerising 360 degree view of London and the night sky! High speed ‘Kaleidoscopic’ lifts climb effortlessly to the 72nd floor, 800 feet (243 metres) above the ground! This huge modern structure rises to a height of 1,016 feet (309 metres), making it the highest building in Western Europe and the closest to the stars!
